My 4 Month Engagement
Since being engaged, I’ve been having so much fun making decisions and planning not just the wedding, but the honeymoon and the rest of our life together. Well, maybe not the entirety of the rest of our life, but at least where we’ll be living.
At first I had mixed emotions about a 4 month engagement.
I wasn’t sure I could figure everything out in such a short amount of time....

@stephaniehorn to @steph_haworth
Hi tumblr friends! I know it’s still 99 days until my wedding, but I decided to snatch up the LAST available version of my soon-to-be-married-name today. You can now reference me as @steph_haworth. Whoa. WEIRD!

Dressing like a Parisienne
I’ve been reading a TON of HiP Paris recently to prepare myself for my Parisian honeymoon (well, two days in London then 9 days in the city of lights!). It really got me thinking that I’d like to look the part of a stylish Parisienne. I know that buying an entire wardrobe for one trip is crazy, so I’m planning to make the most with what I have and buy a few key pieces to really...

Christmas Loot
Christmas is over. The gifts have been given and the ham has been eaten, but the excitement just doesn’t stop! Ham sandwiches for the rest of the week—amiright???
Paul and I had a blast sharing it as an engaged couple, looking forward to celebrating it as a married couple next year. Eek! Weird.

So Paul and I are getting hitched!
It’s true! After 1½ years of loving, growing, and both of us being very humbled by one another, Paul asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I said yes, and I cried—a lot. Seriously, I don’t think he was prepared for the amount of happy tears I shed at that moment.
So now, for your reading pleasure, I’ve included the story…
Paul had told me earlier in the week to...

While cleaning I noticed my window shade had been pulled up and that I wasn’t the one who did it. Apparently, Duncan has realized that the window is the best way to investigate any odd noises he hears outside — so he’s figured out how to open the shade like I do every morning. What a smarty-pants!

Dunder Mifflin is now a REAL paper company!
This is a stroke of marketing genius, and if I have anything to say about it my office will be stocked with Dunder Mifflin brand paper from here to eternity. Staples-owned Quill.com is partnering with NBC to produce a line of paper from the show. Crushable says they:
will sell “100% fun” copy paper bearing Dunder Mifflin’s fictional insignia on the box, as well as quips like “Our motto is...

24 Before 24 Recap
Last week I celebrated my golden birthday — I turned 24 on the 24th! That means it’s time to review my 24 Before 24 list. I got started with this idea a bit late and only had 6 months to complete as much as I could.
Not being able to complete some of the items has made ask if they’re really all that important. Some I absolutely want to finish (hello #4!), but others are just not...
